This professional experience, combined with my ongoing commitment to continuing education and evidence-based practice, allows me to provide therapy that is both effective and individualized.

About Me
My Background
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience providing a range of mental health services, including individual, family, and supportive therapy. My approach is grounded in a strong professional foundation, comprehensive clinical training, and a genuine commitment to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges.
My connection to this work is both professional and deeply personal. In addition to my education and clinical experience, my perspective has been shaped by years of lived experience as a parent, advocate, and caregiver supporting my own child through the complexities of neurodiversity. This personal journey has provided me with a deeper understanding of the challenges many individuals and families face and has strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, individualized, and neurodiversity-affirming care.
Professional Foundation
I completed graduate-level training in mental health counseling and have pursued extensive continuing education in the areas of anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, personality disorders, and autism. Over the years, I’ve worked in community mental health, outpatient therapy settings, and multidisciplinary teams, giving me a broad understanding of individual, family, and systemic challenges.
My clinical work has consistently focused on supporting children, teens, adults, couples, and families through emotional, developmental, and relational concerns.
But the heart of my work comes from my own life experience.
Parenting Through Neurodiversity
As a parent, I have firsthand experience navigating the joys and challenges of raising children with unique developmental, emotional, or learning needs. This lived reality taught me far more than any textbook ever could.
I understand what it feels like to worry about your child, to want the best for them, and to advocate fiercely for their needs when the world doesn’t always understand them.
I understand the exhaustion of appointments, evaluations, school meetings, and feeling like you’re constantly balancing your child’s needs with everything else in life. I understand the emotional highs of progress and the lows of setbacks.
This personal journey profoundly influences the empathy, patience, and nonjudgmental support I bring to parents in my practice.
